Putco H3 chrome antenna base cover

It was very difficult to install. It looks as though it will just snap on, but I was unable to get it to do that until I filed down the opening that goes over the antenna. I had to make it bigger in order for it to clear the width of the antenna base. Then it suddenly snapped on, but now, because that opening is slightly bigger, it reveals a little more of the plastic underneath. I guess it was worth the price--about 1/2 of the GM product. So if you buy this one and have the same problem, don't give up. You can file it down pretty quick.

Looks great - should have come stock on the H3

It was an exact fit and looks really nice. The problem I had wasn't with this add on but with the antenna. I have an aftermarket one and the bottom was flared out so I had to remove it before installing the base cover. I had to grip it with a pliers and it scratched up the antenna really bad. Anyway, this is base cover is a nice addition to the Hummer H3.
